
Emily creates a compassionate and caring space to navigate life’s challenges and difficulties. She is committed to walking alongside clients in the exploration of their unique strengths and hardships. Emily believes that clients are the experts of their own experiences and that change is always possible. Emily’s approach to therapy is systemic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed. She brings experience in working with complex traumas and relationship struggles, as well as addiction, faith, anxiety, and stress.
Emily is completing her Master’s degree at Trinity Western University in Marriage and Family Therapy and offers affordable sliding-scale counselling rates. She has level 1 Satir and level 1 Gottman therapy trainings and takes an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach with individuals and couples. In utilizing these various therapeutic approaches, Emily helps create space for meaningful change, self-awareness, and relational growth. Her client-centered perspective allows her to tailor therapy to the unique needs of her clients.
