Why is EMDR Helpful? EMDR can help you process feelings and thoughts that are stuck, making it easier to deal with stress, anxiety, or trauma. Curious to try something different? EMDR is gaining popularity! We are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). It has been around for over 30 years. EMDR is a type of therapy that helps people who have gone through trauma or PTSD symptoms. It has also been successful in treating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, addictions, OCD and more (Maxfield, 2019).
